Kenichi Oumi, DC, graduated from Life University in Marietta, GA, in 2014 and has been a board-certified chiropractor in Virginia, USA, since then. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Chiropractic Sports Sciences from Life University.
Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Dr. Kenichi holds an undergraduate degree in athletic training from Waseda University. His interest in chiropractic care began while working as a student athletic trainer at the university, leading him to move to the United States in 2009.
During his time at Life University, he specialized in the Gonstead technique, extremity adjustments, and sports chiropractic. Dr. Kenichi is committed to continual learning and has attended multiple seminars to enhance his skills and knowledge in sports chiropractic.
He currently runs his private practice in Tachikawa, Tokyo. An avid sports enthusiast, Dr. Kenichi enjoys playing and watching various sports. He spends most of his free time with his wife and their children—a son born in December 2017, and twin girls born in April 2020.
